Learn Spanish With Funny Monsters: Descriptions & Anatomy
Teach descriptions and anatomy to your students by using a Funny Monsters theme! It is easier for little learners to focus and remember concepts when they are motivated and having fun. This lesson is divided into 3 sections:
- Funny Monsters for Beginners. This section is for kids who are dabbling in Spanish. I will share some basic ideas such as body parts, numbers, and colors. After this lesson, they will be able to name each body part correctly, to identify how many there are, and their colors.
- Funny Monsters for Advanced Students. If your students are more fluent in Spanish, some of the notions above might be too easy. That’s why in this section I cover number and gender agreement adjectives, as well as comparatives and superlatives. Children will learn to compare monsters in Spanish using more specific and complex attributes. Be ready for them to say complete sentences describing the monsters accurately.
- The Concepts Review. At the end of this Funny Monsters lesson you will find 4 PDFs that you can download to review the concepts with your students. There are two for each Spanish level.
Students will find out that monsters are not only funny-looking characters from movies, but also something they can create inside their minds.
Benefit from the monstrous imagination they have and let their minds run wild with this entertaining and valuable lesson. Let’s have some Spanish fun and immerse ourselves into the funny monsters world!
¡Vamos!
