8 Best Online Homeschool Programs for High School

Looking for homeschool programs for high school? This is a good place to start.

Making a switch to homeschooling can be a challenge but homeschooling high school is one of the more daunting elements of homeschooling for many of us parents.

In preschool, you feel that you control your child’s education and can handle almost everything by yourself. In elementary and middle school you feel strongly about teaching some subjects and use the help of other parents and homeschool co-ops to cover other areas. But high school is a whole different story.

This is where homeschool programs for high school take the pressure off. You or your teenage child don’t need to look for the right curriculum within their area of interest and can simply sign up for an online school. You can choose individual courses to supplement what they study alone, or buy a complete program.

Through the years I have oriented many high school homeschoolers that worked with different programs. Let me show you my selection of the best online courses in high school that will keep your teenager learning and engaged!

8 Best Online High School Homeschool Programs

The programs below provide online resources to guide your child in their studies. Some of them focus on specific areas, such as languages, and others allow you to choose courses you want.

They all let your teenager go deeper into their studies and help them along their path. Some of them are accredited and can give you high school credits, some are only thought to complement your homeschool curriculum.
