9 Amazing Science Books in Spanish for Kids
If your kids love science, look no further: here are some great science books in Spanish for kids.
There are infinite ways to broaden your children’s vocabulary. Math, cooking, sports, arts, and science, each of these have unique words. However, even fluent and native Spanish speakers sometimes have trouble when they speak about something they don’t know. Though I studied science in school, for example, I can’t for the life of me tell you what mitochondria are in English or Spanish!
But if your kids are into science and are learning Spanish, you can build a bridge between the two. And even if your kids are not into science, these books will inspire them to learn more and maybe even inspire them to become the world’s next great scientist!
So, gather your test tubes, white coats, and your telescope. Here are 9 fantastic science books in Spanish for kids.
Science and Spanish: A Multidisciplinary Approach
UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education encourages a multidisciplinary approach to education, which includes studying science from the viewpoint of Spanish.
Experts argue that students gain skills that they can later use in other work environments with this approach.
Some of the skills are:
- Problem-solving
- Critical thinking
- Time-management
- Self-management
- Communication
- Writing
- Research
Just imagine, a kid interested in science will undoubtedly do research and write papers. And they’ll transfer those skills to other disciplines.
