Jordan tells us his story on language learning, believe it or not, he was never a great student! He says his years abroad made him passionate about the language, although he assures it was challenging.

He shares grammar tips and very punctual topics such as prepositions, pronouns, and nouns, to name a few.

He acknowledges how overwhelming it can be to listen to Spanish for the first time and not know what is going on! So, his videos are mainly in English but his viewers praise his excellent explanation method!

His series One Line at a Time uses bits of his favorite T.V. shows and explains how to translate simple lines into Spanish! This is great if you are still struggling with speaking the language and figuring out how to say some useful phrases.

8. Spanish After Hours

Laura is from Spain and she addresses Spanish from many points of view.

Her videos range between 5 to 15 minutes and she goes from the basics, to useful hacks, all the way to intermediate Spanish lessons!

With her beginner playlist, she starts teaching vocabulary in a fun way! For example, she tells you a story—slow and clearly—and she shows you images of the vocabulary words for you to learn them faster!

She also shares recipes and other methods to incorporate Spanish in your everyday life.

His Spanish Solved! (Simple Explanations For Complex Topics) series includes tons of videos on grammar and vocabulary, so you have a little bit of everything in this channel.

What makes this channel unique is Julio’s creative mind! He uses puppets as the characters of his videos! And he also uses creative ways of telling stories—for example, funny news reports!

While his puppets mainly use his Argentinian accent, he also incorporates other voices to present the Spanish accent.

This video is an example of Julio’s peculiar way of teaching! What’s also great is that in the same video, he plays the report three times!

One for initial listening, then, he presents key vocabulary words and plays the report again, and the last time includes English subtitles for you to check your understanding!

10. Use Your Spanish

As I watched Salo’s channel, I noticed how well-structured his videos are! He has Spanish listening practices for beginners and advanced learners.

His beginner listening videos are so friendly that he explains what the lesson is like step by step.

For example, he divides the video in three sections:

  1. Low speed narrative, along with the text fully written on the screen
  2. Explanation with vocabulary words, context, and other useful resources
  3. Regular speed narrative

While his videos run up to 25 minutes, they are excellent options for step-by-step lessons that you can easily take during a break at work or before starting your day!

Other useful lessons in this channel include basic vocabulary, pronunciation tips, and even songs for intermediate and advanced learners to practice listening comprehension!
